Perfect for plastic free cleaning, our compostable eco scourers are made from super absorbent cellulose wood fibre with a natural scouring side. Each pack includes two types:

Sisal scourer side (white) – for lighter scrubbing
Loofah scourer side (dark brown) – for heavy duty scouring

Both are durable, non scratch and designed to tackle everything from washing up to bathroom cleaning, while being kind to the environment.

These sponges are highly versatile, working well on dishes, kitchen surfaces, bathroom tiles and other hard surfaces. They create more suds while using less soap, and with proper care will last for months.

Care instructions
Keep sponges as dry as possible between uses. To freshen, soak in boiled water for a few minutes, place in the microwave, or wash in the dishwasher on a drying cycle.

Why choose compostable scourers
Most kitchen sponges are made from plastic and treated with chemicals such as petroleum based compounds, bleach, sulphates and triclosan. They cannot be recycled or composted and contribute to microplastic pollution in waterways.

Our eco scourers are made from natural plant fibres, go through a less toxic manufacturing process, and are fully compostable at the end of their life.
